the best of Moroccan kitchen ! Moroccan Almond Briouat!

have you already tried these moroccan  triangle gourmets? well if not yet,  it's time to try them and make them yourself at home . they are worthy, delicious and easy to make.


  1. 250 g. Almonds
  1. 7 Pastry sheets
  1. 2 tablespoons of flower water
  1. 3/4 tablespoon of Cinnamon
  1. 6 tablespoon of Sugar
  1. Melted Butter
  1. Honey for garniture
  1. Sesame seeds for garniture


Step 1 :Boil the almonds in water for a few minutes and then drain and remove their skin.
Step 2: Grill the sesame seeds in the oven until they become golden and Leave aside. Step 3: Chop the almonds, orange flower water, sugar, cinnamon and 2 tsp. Of melted butter in a mincer until a lumpy paste is made. Step 4: Make small balls leave aside. Step 5: Roll each sheet of pastilla and then cut into 5 equal pieces. Step 6: Butter each piece of pastry and place a ball of almond paste down in the bottom of the sheet. Fold the sheet over the ball and alternate to form a triangle. Seal with a little egg yolk if necessary. Step 7: Repeat step 6 and make triangles of all other balls of almond paste and leave aside. Step 8: Heat the honey in a saucepan and vegetable oil in a deep frying pan. Brown the briouats in small quantities, drain and dip them directly into the hot honey. Leave them for few minutes and then remove them and sprinkle with sesame seeds or sliced almonds.
